4 x³ - 5 x² + 7 x - 10

then:

4 ∙ ( - 3 )³ - 5 ∙ ( - 3 ) ² + 7 ∙ ( - 3 ) - 10 =

4 ∙ ( - 27 ) - 5 ∙ 9 - 21 - 10 =

-108 - 45 - 21 - 10 = - 184

So I wouldn't multiply the coefficients by -3 first?

Mou first do mathematical operation with x then multiply.
