In using a pulley system,an Effort of 100N is needed to raise steadly a load of 800N.(a)what is the mechanical advantage?(b)if this Effort moves through a distance of 20m and the load is moved up a distance of 2m caculate the velocity ratio.

800/100 = 8
20/2 = 10
we lose 2 out of 10 to friction, should just need 80 N if the bearings were perfect
