Would you prefer to own a business in the German economy or British economy? Why?


Compare and contrast the governments of Great Britain and Germany.

16 I would pick British economy because it was the first country to industrialize and its economy relies on research, innovation, and financial services. They have a really strong market orientation for their mixed economy. There are some private ownerships of industries and people pay some university cost. I would also pick British because it was on the allies team in World War 2.
17 Great Britain is a constitutional monarchy while Germany is a parlimentary democracy. Britain has a king or queen as the symbol of head of state while Germany has presedent as head of state. They are both democratic with a two house legislation. They also have a balance of power and a head of goverment.
18 One reason a country would want to be in the EU because of free trade between members and a common currency.One reason a country would not want to join the EU because EU officials are not elected, so they dont always represent everyone.
19 Immigration has caused controversy in the recent years because Immigrations often have less education and because of the lack of housing and funding of healthcare.
