If the magnitude of a charge is tripled, does the magnitude of the force triple as well? If there are two charges are tripled, how is the magnitude of force found then? By multiplying?

Goodness. When in doubt, look at the governing equations.
force= k q1*q2 /distance^2
so if q1 is x3, F is x3
and if q1*q2 = 3x3= 9, ....
force= k q1*q2 /distance^2
so if q1 is x3, F is x3
and if q1*q2 = 3x3= 9, ....
