He just solved it for you. You are moving 25 N to the right, and then you need to move 5 N to the left. Since you just moved 25 N to the right, you go 5 N to the left which means you take away from the 25 since you just moved in the opposite direction.
25 - 5 = 20. So your answer is A, or 20 N to the right.
