Hi. I'm having difficulties posing a question for a survey I'm creating. My research paper topic is "Sexual Assault: A rising issue affecting our ---- youth"
Please excuse the "---", I don't want to disclose the area. In the survey, the foremost question being asked is "Have you experienced sexual assault?"
I just need major help in revising this question. Any suggestions/examples would be appreciated. Thank you.

I see nothing wrong with that question.

Hi Ms.Sue, I was told it was just too straightforward and violating in a way. Yet, this question is necessary to have as it is what I'm researching about. My survey participants are all adults. I'm not sure.
