A small ant trying to cross a pole of12 cm . It climbs 3 cm in one minute and slips 2cm in second minute

so, every 2 minutes it gains 1 cm
after 9 minutes it has moved 9 cm.
in the 10th minute it finishes the 12 cm, and does not slide back.
