If L is the midpoint of KM (with a line over the top)and KM = 5x - 6 and LM = 2x + 4, what is the value of x?

KM = 2LM,
5x - 6 = 2(2x+4),
5x - 6 = 4x + 8,
5x - 4x = 8 + 6,
X = 14.
