If the pressure of 8.0 L of nitrogen gas in a flexible container is decreased to one-fifth of its orginal pressure(at constat teperature)' the volume will now be ?

Use Boyle's Law.

P*V = constant

P1 = initial pressure
P2 = final pressure = P1/5
V1 = initial volume = 8 L
V2 = final volume

(8 L)*P1 = V2*(P1/5)
P1 cancels out

V2 = 40 L
