4x=3=11=2x
-4x -4x
3=11+6x
-11 -11
x=6

I don't know what you did in your first step with 3 equal signs.

4x+3=-3+2x+14

Combine like terms:
4x - 2x + 3 - 3 = -3 + 2x - 2x + 14
2x = 8
x = 4
