Question

A photocopier wants to enlarge a work by 120%. The original area is 10 inch^2. What would be the area of the enlarged copy?
Thanks.

10^2 = 10 * 10 = 100 square inches.

Find 120% (1.2) of 100 square inches by multiplying the two.

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
