Write the equation of a line perpendicular to 2y=3x+4 and passes through the point (7,-2).


Please help me i have no idea in this.
and please4 explain me how you did it. thanks.

The slope of the perpendular line must be -2/3. That is because the slope of your original line is 3/2. (The product of the slopes of perpendicular lines is always -1.)

Therefore the equation of the second line is of the form

y = (-2/3) x + C

Use the fact that y = -2 when x = 7 to compute the constant C.
