Does anyone know why candles burn slower in cooler environments?

Been searching through the interwebs, and I haven't been able to find an exact answer. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

What are factors in burning: Heat, Fuel, Oxygen. So hot temps mean more heat, so burning is increased.
