You have two equations here.
3 * -3y = -3
-9y = -3
Divide both sides by -9.
y = -3/-9 = 1/3
2x - y = -5
Substitute 1/3 for y and solve for x.
3 * -3y = -3
-9y = -3
Divide both sides by -9.
y = -3/-9 = 1/3
2x - y = -5
Substitute 1/3 for y and solve for x.
