Question
SOLVING SYSTEMS:
A bag contains nickels, dimes and quarters having a value of $3.75. If there are 40 coins in all and 3 times as many dimes as quarters, how many coins of each kind were there?
--The answer is 20=n,15=d, 10=q. No matter how I do it I can't match it.
--Bosnian was awesome and answered a similar question for me earlier today. Could someone please explain it thoroughly, so I may understand the steps?
--Thank you!
