I got the question correct but I don't understand why the answer I chose was correct. (I eliminated the ones that I knew were wrong and guessed out of the two answers I had left) Here's the question: Which event contributed most significantly to the settlement of Muslim peoples in Israel? My answer was Diaspora. Please help me understand why that is the correct answer.

When the Roman Empire controlled the homeland of the Jews, the Jews rebelled, more than once. When the Romans cracked down, the Hebrew people were forced to leave.
