Starting with 25 mL CH3CH2OH that is approx mass = v x density = 25 x 0.79 = approx 20 g and that times 0.95 =- approx 19 grams if that 95% is w/w.
So 1 mole CH3CH2OH givs you 1 mole CHI3.
mols ethanol = grams/molar mass = approx 0.4 so approx 0.4 mole CHI3 will e formed and that to grams is g CHI3 = mols CHI3 x molar mass CHI3 = ?
