Name 3 substances that the liver stores:
1) glycogen. When there is lots of sugar in the blood, the liver converts it into glycogen which is used for storage. Glycogen formed us determined by insulin which is released from pancreas.
I'm not sure of what else the liver stores.... it produces bile but that is stored in gall bladder.
Can I get help please?

Glycogen IS stored in the liver, so are certain vitamins, and Iron, correct me if I'm wrong. I got this information from a site called: teachmephysiology, add a dot and a com and you'll be fine.
