What do all the words in the left hand cloumn have in common that is not shared by any of the qords in the right column?
Thanks i hope you could help!!
plus this too, i forgot to type it in
ramp hammer
screw faucet
chisel axle
doorstop hinge
With only a brief examination, I see two possibilities.
One is that the objects in the left-hand list function without moving, while those on the right-hand side function via movement. (Although a screw is moved when installed, its function is to maintain something in a fixed position.)
The second is that the words on the left themselves get progressively longer as on proceeds down the list, while this is not true of the right side. However, with the term, "any," in the question, I would choose the first alternative.
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
