Juan has 28 paperback books Each book is 1 1/4 inches wide. will all his books fit on the 2 and 1//2 feet shelf? if not how many will fit and how many will have to go on another shelf?

28 * 1 1/4 = 35

2 1/2 * 12 = 30

(35 - 30)/ 1 1/4 ... on another shelf
