I'll tell you the answer because I'm not sure libraries even have these any more.

Before we found our information on computers, we used periodical indexes to find magazine and journal articles.

Look the terms up. But I wonder on the correct answer, I haven't used one in 20 years, wondering if they still exist. The age of computers is upon us. I know all my articles are archived on computer databases.
