I’m lost on this question and don’t know how to finish here is what I got
-5+i/2i*-3 on both sides?

(-5+i)/(2i) * i/i = (-5+i)(i)/(2i^2) = (-1-5i)/-2 = (1+5i)/2

where did you pull the -3 from?
and "both sides" of what?
