My neighbor hired me to plant 10 trees. However, he wants 5 rows of 4. How am I going to do this just using 10 trees?
you cant you need 20 trees or just do 2 rows of 5
is this is an actual math question and not a real life question then the answer is impossible or unsolveable
If you want to use 10 trees to make 5 rows of 4 each, this must mean that you have a pattern where some of the trees are in more than one row.
Although I know the answer, I want you to think it out for yourself. Try various patterns with 5 lines (rows). Since some trees are in more than one row, the lines must cross each other.
It can be solved.
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
