(-1,0) is a solution to x < 2, because -1 is the x coordinate and it's less than 2.
For this coordinate, the equation evaluates to 3(1) > 5(-6) - 12, which is
3 > -30 - 12,
so (-6,1) is a solution because 3 > -30-12.
