Does anyone know if there is a toxin in cigarette smoke or from hazardous waste that causes flu-like symptoms, shortness of breath, or swollen nose?

Thanks.

I don't understand your question. Are you asking if a toxin in cigarette smoke causes these symptoms, or if they are caused by proximity to hazardous waste (as from industry), or both, or neither?
I'm asking about either and/or both. Like any specific toxins that do that. And if there are certain things in hazardous waste that also do that.
