Pressure acting on 30 m^3 of a gas is reduced from 2 to 1 atmospheres. What new volume does the gas occupy? (Boyles law)
What if it is increased from 1 to 2? What new volume?

since PV=kT, if T is constant, then P and V are inversely proportional. Halving the pressure doubles the volume.
