Solve using elimination method
2. 2r-7s=-31
7r+2s=24
answer: (230/53,-468/53)
This is one of the elimination problems that i cannot figure out

multiply first one by 7 and second one by 2
14 r - 49 s = -217
14 r + 4 s = 48
------------------- subtract
14 r - 49 s = -217
14 r + 4 s = 48
------------------- subtract

So I come out with s=169/45 right?
Then I substitute that into one of the equations to get r correct?

-49 - 4 = = -53
-217 -48 = -265
so s = 265/53
s = 5
substitute five back in to get r
-217 -48 = -265
so s = 265/53
s = 5
substitute five back in to get r
