Someone would want to read your paper because the opening paragraph grabbed their interest or because they thought the subject matter was interesting.
this is hw. my teacher is making it 150 words. i already have beacause the title might sound intresting
I tell you, if there isn't something in the first paragraph that makes me WANT to keep reading, I generally don't!
If the first sentences or paragraph are filled with spelling and other erros, I usually don't go any farther because I know I'll just run into more of the same in the rest of the paper.
Keep on thinking. Having an "interesting" title isn't enough!

a census taker stopped at a house and asked how many people lived there. The man thatr answered the door siad"I live here with my three dqaughters" When the census taker asked for the ages of the three daughters, the man said," The product of their ages is 36. the sumof their ages is the same as my house number." The census taker (who was a good problem solver) looked at the house number and said" I still can't tell your daughter's ages." "replied the census taker who tell you that the oldest is staying with a friend today." " Thank you," replied the census taker who promptly wrote down the daughters' ages. How old are th daughters?
