The year is 1783 and the Revolutionary War is officially over. How would you feel if you were a Patriot? How would you feel if you were a Loyalist?

CHOOSE a position - either a Patriot or a Loyalist.

Write a journal entry from the perspective of your chosen position.  Your journal entry should address the following questions:

1. What do you think were the causes of the war?
2. What impact has the war had on life in the colonies?
3. How do you think life will be different in North America after the British defeat?

this is my whole assessment, I chose Patriots, and I answered the first question. I'm stuck on 2.

There have been some food shortages. Some family members and neighbors have been killed or wounded. However, we're proud of the colonists and are glad we are now a free and independent nation.
