When 12 gallons of diesel are put into a truck's tank , the indictor goes from 1/2 tank to 7/8 what is the total capacity of the diesal tank ?

12 gallons = 3/8 tank

12/(3/8) = x/(8/8)

(3/8)x = 12

x = 12/(3/8)

x = 12 * (8/3)

x = 32
