Asked by Jamie
how do you solve for y in the expression: x^3=y(y+3)?
x^3=y^2 + 3y
y^2+3y- x^3=0
Using the quadratic formula..
y= (-3+-sqrt(9+4x^3) )/2
x^3=y^2 + 3y
y^2+3y- x^3=0
Using the quadratic formula..
y= (-3+-sqrt(9+4x^3) )/2
