Stereotypes in my opinion are something silly and unecessary and I havn't come upon one that is exceptionally positive. That's just me though, others might disagree. -MC

An example of a supposed positive stereotype is that all Asians are super smart. However, obviously, that is not true and may put unnecessary pressure on an average Asian.
What about these?
African-Americans are good basketball players.
City dwellers are more sophisticated than their country cousins.
Old people don't use computers or cell phones.
Boys are better math students than girls.
