Question
I need to write a paper on a transgender role model. It can be someone in the field of art, science, math, or business leadership. Any suggestions?

I know how to use Google. That is not helpful. Who was our first Transgender president?
Ryan
Uh... some of those links you posted are really sketchy, Ms. Sue. There is one about cross dressing and drag queen lifestyle. I can't write a class paper on that kind of stuff!
Ms. Sue
I'm sorry that the Google list of notable transgender people wasn't helpful to you. As far as I know, the United States has never had a transgender president.
This may be of some use to you.

Thanks. My teacher said that there is some evidence that William Taft was transgender, or at least androgynous/nonbinary.
Ms. Sue
I suggest you read some biographies of President Taft and draw your own conclusions.
Terrence
Thanks. Ryan and I are looking into it. It appears his mustache may have been fake, and he may have been a non binary person.

"It appears" <~~?? You're going to base a "research" paper on "it appears"?

Writeteacher, can you suggest any good resources for researching this topic? What is the evidence that President Taft was trans?

Your question isn't a good one; you are assuming he was. You need to search with an open mind, not a preconceived idea.
Use any of these search engines to read up on Taft, and be careful which websites you believe and which you don't.
