If x:y=9/2:16/3

AND y:z=25/4:17/2, find x:y:z
Question of proportional parts please Answer

Find the relation between x&y,y&z,then x&z, x=9/2,when y=16/3,then (32/27)x=y,also y=25/4,when z=17/2,then z=(34/25)y,
Therefore z= (34/25)*(32/27)x=(1088/675)x.Hence x:y:z= x:(32/27)x:(1088/675)x,dividng through by x,you get x:y:z
Note your ans should be: 675:800:1088=x:y:z,when you multiply through by 675

I would do it this way:
x : y = 9/2 : 16/3 = 27 : 32
y : z = 25/4:17/2 = 25 : 34

The LCM(32,25) = 800

x:y = 675:800
y:z = 800:1088

x:y:z = 675 : 800 : 1088
