both proceed for time t
both are at the same position x=d at time t
both started at t = 0 at x = 0
for car
d = 6 t
for cycle
d = (1/2) 4 t^2
so
6 t = (1/2) 4 t^2
3 = t
then
d = 6*3 = 18
