I don't know what AVID is. I assume you do know, since you are in the class. Now, read the assigned materials about Mr. Washington's ideas and compare and contrast. How are the goals the same, and how do they differ?

I do know what AVID is, in general I do not know how the goals have been articulated in your class. This assignment seems to help you hone your critical thinking skills and your writing skills. Only you can do that.
