Okay, I see. First take 2x away from both sides. That makes:

5y= 10-2x

Now, I'm not positive about this part, but I think you would divide the whole side by 5, therefore making:

y = 2-.4x
or
y = -.4x + 2

y = mx+b , that's the equation

so

we do this

5y = 10-2x
5y = -2x + 10

now we want to get rip of the 5 in the Y

so we do

-2x / 5
10 / 5

so its -0.4 and 2

so y= -0.4x + 2

get it?
