Ok we are doing distributive property in math and I'm so confused on some of the problems. the problems are:

9+(x-4)
5-4x-5/-4
4(3x-2y)-3(4x-3y)
7(r+s)-(r-s)
3y-2(x-2y)

Thank you so much for your help.

Multiply each term in parentheses by the coefficient in front of it, and then combine constants and "x" and "y" terms separately

For example,
9 + x - 4 = x + 5
(You don't even have to do a distributive multiplication on that one)

3y -2(x-2y) = 3y - 2x + 4y = 7y - 2x

You try the others.

Your second expression needs parentheses to show us what the mumerator is.
