                I don't have a calculator to solve these iterations... I really need help. The non-linear equation is f(x)= 4x - x^2 the intial value for the first one is 2.4 and 2.41 for the second one. Thank you so much!!

    Oh, please. In the first, place, you'd better go out and get a calculator. Or use your phone's calculator.
Or, there are lots of calculators online. google, etc.
wolframalpha.com allows you to give a formula and a value, such as
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=4x+-+x%5E2,+x%3D2.4
you can see that f(2.4) = 3.84
Then use that for the next iteration. and so on.
Or, use some smarts and find an online iterator. Such as
http://www.calcul.com/show/calculator/recursive?values=[{%22n%22:0,%22value%22:2.4,%22valid%22:true}]&expression=4*f(n-1)-(f(n-1))^2&target=0&endTarget=15&range=true
