You have 1/4,1/2,3/4,1
1/4 is like 4 tbsp, 1/2 is 8 tbsp, 3/4 is 12 tbsp and 1 cup is 16 tbsp....the only thing in the middle of 1/2 cup and 1 cup is 3/4 of a cup.

The distance from Melanie's house to her school is 11/12mile. Melanie rode her bike 5/12mile and got a flat tire. How much farther does Melanie have left to ride
Answered by

To find how much farther Melanie has left to ride, we need to subtract the distance she has already ridden (5/12 miles) from the total distance to her school (11/12 miles).
11/12 - 5/12 = 6/12
Simplifying the fraction, we get:
6/12 = 1/2
Therefore, Melanie has 1/2 mile left to ride to reach her school.
11/12 - 5/12 = 6/12
Simplifying the fraction, we get:
6/12 = 1/2
Therefore, Melanie has 1/2 mile left to ride to reach her school.
