A 12 kg mass initially moving at 4 m/s is acted upon by a 120 N constant force. What is the final speed of the mass?

a = F/m = 120/12 = 10 m/s^2
v = Vi + a t
v = 4 + 10 t

by the way for distance
x = Xi + Vi t + (1/2)a t^2
= 0 + 4 t + 5 t^2
