I agree, but the question was not asking for a math calculation.

Any average of any set of N numbers should be 100/N percent of the sum. The question is asking do you know what average means?

The average of 90 numbers is 100/90 percent of the sum.

I took the GRE in the early 80's, that question was on the test. And a lot of similar math theory /definition questions...
