2x+3y=6 (solve for x)

2x+3y=6
Get unknown on one side and everything else on the other side. To do this we ned to move 3y. How to do that? Subtract 3y from both sides.
2x+3y-3y = 6-3y
combine terms.
2x = 6-3y
Now divide both sides by 2
2x/2 = (6-3y)/2
x=(6-3y)/2
