a carpenter needs 6 pieces of wood 3 1/2 feet long. the carpenter has two 10 foot boards. does the carpenter have enough wood? Explain

10*2 = 20 ft (Length of boards that he has)

20/3.5 = 8.57 (Number of 3 1/2 feet pieces that he can make)

So he does have enough wood.
