(exact value: x^2 = 34 + 30√3/2
= 34 + 15√3

place vector P along the horizontal
so vector P = (5,0)
vector Q is (3cos30, 3sin30)
P+Q = (5,0) + (3√3/2, 3/2)
= ( 5+3√3/2 , 3/2)
maginitude = √( (5+3√3/2)^2 + 9/4 ) = appr 7.44
