if the area of cross section of a wire in a circuit is doubled its resistivity?
(a)becomes one fourth,(b) becomes half (c) remains the same (d) doubles.
Exlpain please?

Resistance is cut to 1/4 of original
HOWEVER
resistivity is a function of material. It does not change with geometry
so
(c) remains the same.
