This is what I have to do: I have to do poster presentation on Family Diversity. The purpose of the family diversity assignment is to build your knowledge, skills, and values to competently work with families from diverse populations. You will create a poster conveying the information you have gained (see below for poster organization). To complete this assignment you are expected to: Identify a population that you would like to focus on from one of the 14 populations identified such as age, class, color, culture, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, immigration status, political ideology, race, religion, sex, and sexual orientation. You are expected to choose a population of which you are not familiar, in other words the special population is NOT a part of your own history and family experience. Within these larger categories you may select a sub-category. For example, if you select disability you may choose to focus specifically on families who have a member with developmental delays. And create a poster conveying your information.Thank you!
