Solve this equation for x.

ab+c/xy = 3d/4

How do you solve this? Please help.

1 answer

Just do what you always do to isolate one variable.

c/xy = (3d/4-ab)
c/xy = (3d-4ab)/4
4c/(3d-4ab) = xy
x = 4c / y(3d-ab)
