Hi, Sorry...my question is Do people prefer higher priced chocolate? So going to have people taste test 3 chocolcate low price, medium and high price. Have them pick which one they like 1st, 2nd and 3rd. My prediction is people will like the higher priced chococlate because the reason it is higher priced is the quality of the cocoa beans and the way it is processed.
The website you gave me didn't give simple definitions for the following words: 1.) reverie 2.) plague 3.) hamper
Thank you very much for helping me with THAT definition, but what about the others? Do you think you could find some simple definitions for me? Or you could at least tell me where to look for them. P.S. My vocabulary book that I am using in School is called Vocabulary Workshop Level B. (In case that helps!) Thanks, Lynn
I also just relized that my teacher got these words from a book she is reading called, The Girl who owened the city. She found these words on certain pages. Here they are: 1.) irony-page 8 2.) looting-page 8 3.) reverie-page 15 4.) plague-page 2, 12, 15 Hope this helps!! -Lynn
I also just relized that we don't even need to know hamper so just forget that. And the vocabulary book I gave you will be useless since I got these words from the book, The Girl Who Owned A City. Thanks, Lynn
This is what hamper's definitions were: 1. to hold back; hinder; impede: A steady rain hampered the progress of the work. 2. to interfere with; curtail: The dancers' movements were hampered by their elaborate costumes. –noun 3. Nautical. gear that, although necessary to the operations of a vessel, is sometimes in the way. Does that sound simple to you?! It doesn't to me!! Where can I find easy definitions?
You know what??? I think I will go look this up in a book. But I don't know where books are located! Where are they? I NEEED BOOKS! HArry Potter is ah-mazing
I think I am the nices person in the WORLD!!! Mommy thinks so too. HAHAH Just kidding

Thank you for such a quick response
Hi Kat. Well since you've done it before you could talk about your experiences with it, how it was working with customers and other people, wether you enjoyed or not. You can explain how catering works and what you had to do in that job. you can also google "essay topics" and go to the first website on there.
never mind..i actually figured this out.
I'm sorry if I sound a tad confused, but what does g represent? Is it the acceleration (10 m/s^2)?
How do you know witch statement is correct?
Okay, I understand that now. Thank you for your help.
groceries to bundles.
To make it false just say that it equals anything except 4. 36/9=5
Add the 14x and the 3x = 17x now you have 17x-40=11 you have to get the plain numbers on one side of the = sign and the number with letters on the other side. Since it shows that you are subtracting the 40 you have to add 40 to each side. 17x-40+40=11+40 (-40+40=0) (11+40=51) 17x=51 now divide the number next to the letter into both sides 17x/17 and 51/17 leaves you with x=3 14x+3x-40=11 17x-40=11 17x-40+40=11+40 17x=51 x=3
If anyone else is reading this, this question is stated exactly like the one from Ashworth high school correspondence course: Introduction to Ashworth High School (2009). The answer is in bold black letters on the fifth page of Unit 7 titled Essay Writing. (pg 154) #1 Essay Writing Rule: Always Start Writing The Day The Essay Is Assigned!

Thank you, but how do I determine what number to divide by? So that I an solve other fractions like this one. Must I still find the greatest common number to divide by?
I still do not understand how they are different could you please explain it to me?
Thank you I understand now. So(xy)3 would be the total of x and y would be cubed. As in xy3 only the y would be cubed then multiplied by x. Do I have it now?

First think about it; which one has more force and which one will not slow down before hitting the water?
A customer wants to make a tee-pee in his backyard for his children. He plans to use lengths of PVC plumbing pipe for the supports on the tee-pee, and he wants the teepee to be 12 feet across and 8 feet tall. The customer needs to figure out the length of the sides of the teepee so he can figure out how much plumbing he will need. We know the base of the teepee/triangle is 12 feet long. How many feet of PVC pipe would the customer need for just the one side of the tee-pee? I came to the answer 10 feet of PVC pipe when I checked my original answer, by drawing a tee-pee with these measurements. What I would like to know is how do I solve this problem mathematically? (so that I do not have to draw a visual)
ooops
Thank you, I think. I still do not understand could you explain it to me? My professor still has not gotten back to me, yet.
Thank you! =0)
and could you give me some examples to solve?
Thank you they were very helpful.
Jayde I already told you that you must perform a check because you may get answers that do not check out in the original equation. Apparently you do not believe me so if anyone else would explain to her!

Calculate the equilibrium constant K(eq) for the following reaction at that temperature: 2SO2 (g) + O2 (g) = 2SO3 (g)
This is what I had thought also. Maybe I just misinterpreted this part of the assignment. Yes I know how to write this type of paper, and thank you for offering additional help. However I am to do a PowerPoint on this along with other aspects that include; their themes and conventions as well. I was just a bit confused when the assignment stated "writing styles and dramatic devices". If it was worded as "include dramatic devices used in their writing style" I may have understood it better. Thank you so much for clearing this up! =)

-2x+3y=14 x+2y=7 I'm guessing you're trying to solve for x and? (: -2x+3y=14 x+2y=7 → x = -2y + 7 ( I got x alone by subtracting -2y ) Plug x= -2y + 7 to the first equation -2( -2y +7 ) + 3y = 14 • solve :) 4y - 14 + 3y = 14 • combine the like terms 7y -14 = 14 •add 14 to both sides 7y = 28 •divide y = 4 Since you now have your y, plug it into x= -2y + 7 x = -2(4) + 7 x = -8 +7 x = -1 Check~ -2(-1)+3(4)=14 2+12=14 14=14 ✔ -1+2(4)=7 -1+8=7 7= 7 ✔
y = years The equations are equal because it says " how many years will the two women be earning the SAME salary " 16,000 + 1,500y = 19,300 + 950y •Solve(: 16,000 + 550y = 19,300 550y = 3,300 •Divide y = 6 It will take 6 years for the two women to earn the same salary.
Rearrange the equation ao that A appears on the left hand side of the equation on its own. B=3A+2C+8 I am really confused, i understand that we you do to one side of the equation you do to the other. But how do you know what to add or subtract, is it the 8 or the 2C or... thanks in advance

Steve, you are AWESOME! Thank you so much. Please explain: "If you add the first n integers, you have 1,3,6,10,15,21 We have this same sequence, starting at the 2nd term, less 1."
D: Don't forget marketing plan.
Actually it would be: f ' (t) = 0.6t + 0.6 (not t squared as the original reply showed)
would that be the following equation: d = 1/2 (Vi + Vf)t or Vf^2=Vi^2+ 2ad
Thanks Steve, taking a physics course for credit this summer, but I am going in to 9th grade and have not had trig yet. Thanks for the formula!
Your small business needs to buy new office furniture for your new headquarters. You have the option of leasing the furniture, or buying the furniture. You can purchase the furniture for $15,000 per year, or lease the same furniture for $5,000 per year for the next four years. Your company has a marginal tax rate of 40%. Depreciation will amount to $3,750 per year and the furniture will be replaced after 4 years. If your company buys the furniture, they will borrow at 7%. Required: 1.Calculate the total cost for both options. 2.Leasing vs. buying: which is the best option for your small business and why?

4 Kings in deck of 52 4/52 13 spades 52 13/52 4/52 + 13/52 but remember the king is used twice so you have to take away the king in the spades which gives you: 4/52+12/52=16/52 But you problem is stating: NOT A KING OR NOT A SPADE So you have to SUBTRACT 1 P(E)= 1-P(E) So you get P=(NOT A KING OR NOT A SPADE) 1-16/52=9/13

Christine is correct! I was struggling for the answer on question 2. Thank you!
Is calculating the sloope of the tangent line the same as calculating the slope? (y2-y1) / (x2/x1) for instance if i took the points 60, 0.023 for X1Y1 and points 100, 0.034 for X2Y2, the slope of the line would be : (0.034-0.023) / (100-60) = 0.011/40 = 0.000275 (the slope) - m y = 0.000275x + b?
So far i have done the following: Ln of (concentration A divided by Concentration A at time 0) = -k * T natural log (0.0174 M / 0.0693 M) / -489 sec which equals to 2.826 x10^-3 s-1
