    Multiply it out and then combine "like" terms (In this case you have two constants that can be combined.)
6x -10 +12 = 0
6x = -2
x = -1/3
4/11 = (x+6)/2x
(x+6) = 8x/11
11 x + 66 = 8x
3x = -66
x = -22

6x -10 +12 = 0
6x = -2
x = -1/3
4/11 = (x+6)/2x
(x+6) = 8x/11
11 x + 66 = 8x
3x = -66
x = -22
